My Famous Friend
Once upon a time there was a bunch of amateur writers who lived together in cyber space. They wrote, and wrote and wrote.
They wrote prose and poetry.
They wrote comments and critiques on whatever the others published online.
They of course wrote to each other through emails and chats.
I was a member of that group and I made a site that united the elite. Thamer Shaker was my partner in deciding who to invite into our elite club, at least at the beginning. The club became so popular that other members had to vote to accept new writers in.
Thamer was my sincerest critic (he always liked what I wrote!!) and of course he was my closest online (male) friend. Sometimes our friendship was attacked by others just because they couldn’t understand it. That was the fun part. We sometimes purposely tantalized and goaded the others.
From the whole group, Thamer was always the most serious about his writings. The son of a famous writer, he knew he could be a well respected writer just like his mother.
He had the resolve. And he did it.
Well at least he published his first book.
Thamer,
I’m so proud of you!!
Now for the love of god send me a couple of signed copies before you really become famous and stop communicating with me!
For all others... get his book from here.
